I first met you in VBS when you were in grade school. I'm so sorry I didn't know the signs back then when you were suffering! I'm now a full-time teacher and a mandated reporter. I will be purchasing your book in hopes that I might be able to prevent any of my students from suffering what you did. Thank you for being brave enough to come forward to help others. Sometimes life can seem so unfair and hateful but thats gods way of prepairing us , never forget your path cuz we all have the power to change but the power to change lives is what we all serch for AND U HAVE THAT POWER use it wisely people r counting on u...........

Luci..which thats what I still call you, I hope its ok. Growing up w/ you as a teenager, maybe I knew something was alittle off in that house, but being a kid myself..I didnt know any better. Im so happy to call you my friend and to know what a great mom you've turned out to be, despite all that horror you must of gone threw. Love you, Jen

Luci-I'm sorry I didn't see any signs or have any way of helping you when we were growing up. It had to have taken a lot of courage to write this book. I'm proud of you for that and I hope it helps others out there. I agree with Dee and wish we would have known what to look for. I remember you were shy and now I know why.
